Ive been procrastinating for a long time now on the assignment Michelle gave me... sigh. Couldnt think of much, Im actually a rather boring person, and since not many ppl read this blog... I think I wont spread the cheer elsewhere.
Well, here goes...
1. My name came to my mom in a dream. No seriously. By her account, about a week b4 i was born, she had a dream seeing someone in a dark room. When asked who was it, it(?_?) replied "Im Joey". Dunno if its true tho...
2. I was a child performer once for the Jerry Jinglebird thingie. Cant really rmb much about it... I think I was what, 6 at the time... I onli rmb that thanks to that, I developed a liking for the carrot cake at Newton Circus, everytime finish rehearsal go and eat ;)
3. I have an insane number of hobbies. This is mainly because as my friend once said, Im probably the world's greatest consumer. Get me interested (i.e. hold my attention span for more than five seconds) and I just go crazy over it. Plus these hobbies are usually excruciatingly boring to the uninitiated (like my Marvel/DC comic history, study of the history of Middle-earth and other LOTR stuff, and my neverending Gundam fascination)
4. Im a very lazy person dresswise. I have like just one template for casual: T-shirt and bermudas. I dont really care how it looks, just whether it feels comfortable.
5. (tries to think of some more) Im a very avid comic reader. Currently, Im following about 9 different series, even some that have to be flown in from Taiwan and Hong Kong cause Chuang Yi never bothered to publish them... which is murder on my wallet (thank god for Comic Connections membership card: 30% discount on all Taiwan/Hong Kong comic books $11 becomes roughly the price of a normal Singapore comic book, for just $10/ year... I sound like Im advertising). My mom's never very happy about this as Im liable to go without lunch and buy all these comic books (thereby "wasting" her money) My collection now numbers a good 50/60 books with the average price being about 7 bucks... you do the math. No wonder she's pissed... And my bookshelf's a bit overflowing, hopefully i can clear out one of the cupboards in my bedroom for storage purposes, room looks like a paper tsuanmi claimed it.
Whew, thats finished. 5 weird and random facts about me!
