Another (fine) day.
*Sigh*. Its four fifteen in the comp lab, and I have come to the usual inevitable conclusion we all reach at some point of time in our lives...
Life sucks.
Im (slowly) coming to dislike my class. True, I usually dont hang out with them, but then again I dont feel obliged to when Im asked near CONTINUOUSLY whether I want to switch classes with one of their friends/probably ex-classmates, thereby denoting me as one of the people they feel peripheral in the class. Talk abt thrusting the dagger in and twisting it to extend the agony. I thought this crap would be over when I said no last week, but to cut the ovrwhelming long and painful story short, NO.
Lessons are going on quite well, I still can follow up. But bio I sometimes feel lucky I had tuition on bio prior to this. AJ didnt teach cell structure in the first three months, RJ did and fully expected us second-intakers to understand the tutorials when most of us didnt know much abt it in the first place. (NO disrespect to AJ, RJ's bio syllabus is in a different order, and a weird one. WHo on earth teachees cell structure first then goes on to proteins and enzymes? Seriously, theres sth wrong abt this...)
lol... didnt mean to sound so bitter. now that that's off my chest, lets get on to more cheerful stuff.
Finally got a diskette so that now even if someone deletes the (hidden, password-protected) folder containing my gba stuff, I wont kill them. THe comps are so fast nowadays that I can download what I need to play FE6 within ten minutes, so doesnt matter anyway.
Fire Emblem 6's coming along nicely, just finished Chapter 12 gaiden and got the legendary axe Armads (Heavenly Thunder)! Huzzah! All praise! :)
ANyone whos bored in the comp lab should visit this site www.faind.com some really nice online games in there. I challenge anyone to a game of Siege, anytime! Muahahahahahahaz....
Trying today to download Gundam Seed Destiny episodes, getting tired of witing (and waiting and waiting...) for the VCDs to come out.
Oh well, routine update.
Cheers,
Imppala

Fire Emblem trance in progress...
*Sigh* I wanted to update yesterday... but guess what happened. I think Im getting hooked on Fire Emblem again, this time a new (or old) version of it. Its just so addictive, plus fun seeing all the new characthers, seeing familiar features, getting the old adrenaline rush... nvmz.
Fire emblem's been going well. All my units are *DAMN* overpowered. I have never seen stats like these on any of my old games on FE7. The ony problem is promoting all these good units so they can continue to grow though. I calculate, I still have four missions to go before I can promote all my units (except for Roy). Just got some really good units, like the myrmidon Fir and the armour knight Wendy, both are which very easy to train and max out stats. Wendy's already maxing out defense at lvl 17! Im getting a Falcoknight(Tate) , a Berserker (Geese, apparently Geitz's younger brother) , a Nomadic Trooper (Sue), a Sniper (Wolt). All promoted units. Nifty, nae?
Been busy studying too. Just had bio prac, which I almost fell on my face. They are already usuing microscopes, and I clean forgot how to use one. Oh well, did pretty well for that though.
My class is ok, but really boring. I dont really have anyone to talk to, since none of them really share my interests. Made some good friends in comp lab and orientation though, met one guy in comp lab who was also playing FE ( what are the odds?), and still arguing with another guy abt whether Freedom could kick Justice's butt in combat. On the whole, life is good, but boring.
Finishing first few maps of Star Ocean on my walkthrough, but on the whole getting very slow. Need to play the game thorugh to confirm some details, and the PS2 is STILL locked up.
Oh well, short update. Then again, nothing much happening anywayz.
Cheers,

First day in class
I know, I know... long time no update. But with the Good Friday holiday and the weekend, I havent been able to surf until now. Besides, YOU try having a mom who cant stand surfing for what she deems "leisure"...
First day in class today. Theyre all right I guess, considering I STILL dont know them very well. Know a few of them by face from the old RI days, but thats abt it.
On the other hand, one of them asked me straight out whether I wanted to switch class with one of their friends :(.
Oh well. These few days had sore throat, doctor said got throat infection, been coughing like siao for abt a week.
On Friday, went to East Coast Park to cycle again. Quite sad turnout, but hey twas a lot of fun. Spent close to an hour teaching Huiping and Chungs how to cycle. In the end though, we just gave up and got two tandem bikes. Cycled for abt 2 hours... hehe... pretty fun, then we went down to the beach and played card games. Two-deck bluff and 99... Woon Ling eneded up holding close to one full deck of cards cos she luan called bluff... and Jie Kai killed me TWICE in 99! grrr... nvmz, I killed him when it mattered. Got like eight power cards then started draining his power cards, then used the Joker (straight to 98) to kill him. Hehe...
Oh yeah, found out Woon Ling knows Alvis too... in same OG some more! SHe claims ALvis and I have the same conversation pattern... cant blame her...
playing FE6 in comp lab now, got abt 30 chapters to go... gonna be damn busy...
Still helping out ShadowedTactician with his fic Pokemon Emblem, expect to be seen there as an extra tactician SOON (hopefully...)
Trying to find Gundam Seed Destiny on vcd, apparently some seque of Gundam Seed, hopefully I can save up some money soon to buy it... geting VERY bored with Gundam Seed.
Writing walkthrough for Star Ocean now... just for kicks, I dont think it is very good though *sigh*. Anyways, Ive pretty much finished up all the preliminaries (controls, battle stufff), now on to the main story. In other words, Im gonna be REALLY busy this term, and Ive still got to figure out how to fit mugging into this schedule... This is gonna be a long term...
Already starting to miss my class in AJ... my present class is a far cry from it. I know 2nd intakers usually feel like this, but well... nvmz...
Anyways, gtg. Fire Emblem 6 : Fuushin no Ken calls! Anon!

First Day in RJ
Well... its my first day here.
Pretty okay so far, but seriously boring. There isnt anything much to do around here, and since I dont know anyone well enough, Im REALLY getting bored. Almost wish I was back in AJ...
Got a pleasant surprise when I found Wee Min had also been posted here. I didnt think anyone in my class would have followed me here to RJ. Anyways, RJ have an OK comp lab, if anything worse than the Free Access Room at AJ.
My OG's OK, but I still dont know half of them, so I cant talk abt them. Its quite disturbing that all of them seem to know each other, and Im left... well, hanging. Oh wellz.
Been planning to replay Star Ocean (again!) but with all the stuff happening in RJ, guess those plans have to be shelved. *Sigh* wonder Ill ever get to see all the endings. I know there's one way to get them all, but hen I tried it, I accidentally triggered one extra Private Action that TOTALLY messed up all the point totals. Geez, you would think you were allowed to do anything you liked in a RPG, but nooooooooo... its DAMN frustrating.
Playing Fire Emblem 6 : Fuushin no Tsuruigi now. However, Ie given up trying to understand the Japanese dialogue, so Im straightaway referring to the translated script I downloaded before. However, its brilliant having new units to evaluate and use, I was getting bored of Fire Emblem 7: Rekka no Ken. The new maps, the new story (albeit UNTRANSLATED), I think Im getting hooked again.
*Sigh* Im getting REALLY, REALLY bored here. Hopefully, this will be remedied. Preparing to dowload LF2 here and challenge ppl... see yaz
Cheers,

Last Day in AJC
Well... this is it.
Ive been posted to RJ. Frankly, it wasnt much of a shock, considering I met all the criteria to get there.
Im gonna miss this place, the people in it, all the stuff here (a nice library, a Free Access Room you can play games in, whats not to like?)...
I would miss my class. Theyve been a great bunch of people, and Ive made many friends there that Im unlikely to forget. We've bonded really well as a class, tis a shame we have to go our separate ways.
My CCA group too. Despite the LONG hours, I still managed to have fun with them. Good luck with An Yu.
These days been EXTREMELY busy with Little FIghter 2 Reinforced. Its a fan version of said popular computer fighting game. All the characters are overpowered, with extra moves requiring insane, INSANE button combinations to pull off. In consequence, they are exceddingly overpowered. Land any of thekm, and at least half of the enemy's HP goes flying away... These are called Hell Moves. Ive pretty much mastered all of them, save FIrzen, whom I dont see the point, he's too overpowered already.
Ill update more soon.
Cheers,

The Reopening of the Chamber
Its been a while. A long, long while.
Oh well, March holidays ended. pretty enjoyable. I used a variety of excuses to get out of home, visited my friend's house twice, and went to X-Square. For those who dont know, its basically an X-box rental place. Nice hardware, opens early, had a great offer (top-up $20, get $20 again)... what's not to like.
Gonna be busy over this year, and NOT with mugging *grins*. My friend downloaded the GBA rom for Fire Emblem 6: Sword of Seals. Granted, its not translated, but I know enough Japanese to get a good idea of whats going on. Plus I downloaded the translated script for the game for kicks. :-) So far, its been pretty much a sequel to Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken (Fire Emblem US), so its really fun, seeing the children of the characthers Ive used, evaluating units, writing walkthrough already (hehe...)s Ill submit a charcther guide soon and other stuff. Watch this space for debates pertaining to FE. :-)
Been having fun in X-Square these few days. Played Ninja Gaiden, Fifa Street and other great games. In a year or so, X-Box is going to be a heavyweight in the games industry. They already are publishing some great games. As for PS2, saving up for Full Metal Alchemist, I hear its sth like Kingdom Hearts. Looking forward to it.
Been busy proof-reading my friends fanfic Pokemon Emblem. Im due for my debut as an extra tactician.
Thats about it in my life (yeah, i noe i have no life...)
Cheers,

Man.
Its gonna be a looooooooong day.
PE, three prac SPAs...
On another note, finhished watching Gundam Seed. A pretty good job, marred by a few things:
1. Like Ive said b4, Mwu sounds in his forties. He's supposed to be some big brother figure, not a father figure!
2. Battle scenes, although impressively done, are reproduced too often for my liking. It was nice seeing Buster slamming his two cannons together to produce an impulse cannon, but after repeated times of seeing it, its time to move on. Too much of a good thing is still a bad thing.
3. Weird idea. Its conceivable enough when you see Kira and Athrun carrying the Seed (when the jewel explodes and their irises expand to cover the whole eye) but Cagalli and Lacus too? What, is it transferable?
On the other hand...
1. Bloody good Gundam design. I particularly like the Buster impulse cannon thing and the Multiple Targeting System of the Freedom and Justice. Plus, whoever thought of the Darth Maul lightsaber trick for the ZGMF Gundams was a genius.
2. Great music. Gundam Seed has four different opening themes and three different ending themes and all of them rock. In fact I got my friend to burn the soundtrack into a CD, im that impressed.
3. A moving story about some social issues, such as how wars never solve anything, cloning issues, blah blah....
Been helping my friend write his fanfic crossover Pokemon Emblem, a cross of the GBA turn-based strategy game Fire Emblem and well, Pokemon. A pretty good job if I say so, see it at fanfiction.net. A pretty refreshing viewpoint of Fire Emblem. Author is ShadowedTactician, a friend of mine. Anyways, bye for this entire week, as I cant post this March holidays.
Cheers,

Post O deliriousness
It's been a while.
I havent been able to post cos AJ closed for one week, and well, my comp's off limits again. Chamber hasnt been visited in a week...smells kinda musty
My O level results have come back. Better than I had hoped. 4A1s, 3A2s, 1B3 and 1C5. My Chinese teacher is trying to hunt me down as I speak. But then again an A1 and A2 in Humanities isnt to be sneezed at, considering I was bottom of the entire cohort for Geog duing the Prelims.
My entire class is splitting, some of them going to NJ, others staying here, and some others going to VJ, with one going to RJ (heh heh). Its been fun guys, keep in touch. You were the first class I ever enjoyed myself in. Hopefully in RJ, I get a class like you guys. Ill miss you, man.
Futuristic nostalgia aside, Ive just got enough money to buy the last volume of Gundam Seed. Now the trouble is to find a GODDAMN STORE that sells it.
Cant talk much, gotta go for GP.
Cheers,
Imppala
